The Issues Which Require Consideration
- Infrastructure Voids: Dubious electricity and the internet in certain areas continue to restrain remote employment opportunities.
- Brain Drain: Most experienced workers leave home to work in foreign countries due to a better chance of work and availability of talents locally are lost.

- Availability of Capital: New companies struggle to raise capital as there is limited venture capital or investor interest in IT startups.
The Future belongs to the Digital World
Nevertheless, there is a bright future of IT in Nepal. Through proper policies, investment in infrastructure and improved academia-industry partnership, Nepal has the potential of becoming a regional technology centre.
New fields of specialization are opened by the emergence of AI, blockchain, and cloud computing. Freelancing and remote work will also help to democratize employment opportunities beyond the Kathmandu Valley.
The increased realization of the potential of technology in governance and service delivery is evidenced in digital government programs such as Nagarik App.
Nepal of Unique Opportunity

With most of the world on the lookout for innovation beyond site, Nepal can be skipped forward into the international tech economy. The digital revolution is not only about to arrive but it is already here. Nepal is willing to surf.
Final Thoughts
